Mask Up Dayton - West Dayton Outreach
Mask Up Dayton is a project hosted by the Dayton Sewing Collaborative. The purpose of the project is to make and donate masks to healthcare and human services organizations throughout the Dayton region. To date over 3,500 masks have been distributed as result of the project.
The Mask Up Dayton – West Dayton Outreach is a spin-off project whose purpose is to provide FREE face masks to individuals and organizations in the community that are being most impacted by the Covid-19 virus. The intent is to provide masks to people that have the greatest need or may not have resources to get masks. The Mask Up Dayton – West Dayton Outreach project is being coordinated by local entrepreneur, Chalance Williams, owner of EPIC Lifestyle Brand (www.epiclifestylebrand.com) and The Sleeve Man (www.thesleeveman.com).
The Dayton Sewing Collaborative volunteers will make the masks and distribution of the masks will be facilitated by Chalance and local volunteers. The project is starting out with 500 masks, but more will be added based on demand.
